The ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship is a submissiongrappling competition involving professional athletes who have been successful at the highest levels of Luta Livre, freestyle wrestling, catch wrestling, judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, shooto and mixed martial arts. ADCC is considered the most prestigious competition in submission grappling sport. The rules of the event do not allow strikes. ADCC means "Abu Dhabi Combat Club", and the event was originally hosted in Abu Dhabi by Tahnoun bin Zayed. Later host countries have included Brazil, China, Finland, Spain, the UK, and the US.

VHTS was one of the main sponsors of the 2022 event and 5 (Matheus Diniz, Nicky Rod, Paul Ardila, Ruan Alvarenga, Victor Hugo) of VHTS sponsored athletes showed exciting performances at the event. Although some of athletes did not achieved what they aimed for, Nicky Rodriguez won silver medal at +99 kg division.
